Wood Floor Sanding & Parquet Repairs in Prestatyn, North Wales

In this particular article we will show off our wood floor repair & restoration skills and highlight a particular project we have recently completed.
This project involved an Entrance Hallway and Reception room that had been unfortunate enough to have been involved in a flood !!
The material was a beautiful Mahogany tropical hardwood floor, which thankfully hadn't been too badly damaged in the flood event, but there was a good amount of repair work to undertake in both the Entrance Hallway and some other area's in the Large 30m2 main Reception room.
In all there was no more than 3m2 of repairs to effect, thankfully the client had enough replacement material for us to use to complete all the repairs. The repairs took two skilled tradesmen the best part of a day to complete as with the boards only being 43mm wide and 10mm in thickness it was a very time consuming repair.
The clients wanted the board orientation changing slightly in the Hallway, and the only realistic way this repair could be done was to cut the existing floor cleanly straight across the Hallway, near to the Hall/Lounge doorway, there was also a small voided area to be infilled...see the project images in the Picture Rotator below.
The Mahogany hardwood floor sanded off very nicely and looked truly stunning when the seal and lacquer were applied to the floor surface.
The lacquer system we used on this project was 1 x Lecol Primaseal followed by a further 2 x coats of the excellent Lecol Lobadur 2k Fusion high traffic lacquer [satin finish]

Well, what can we say? We were looking for a professional team who are committed to providing a top class finish whilst smiling along the way..... we found it!
Not only do Gary and his team work hard, they know their wood inside out! They have a passion and dedication to the job-in-hand and go the extra mile to complete the work to both the customers satisfaction and their own high standards.
They have professionally repaired, sanded and sealed our tropical hardwood floor wonderfully.
Actually managing to repair a section another local company could not and were not prepared to do - guess that just shows the professional level of workmanship you get with these guys.
Unfortunately, there are many companies out there these days who 'talk the talk' but cannot 'walk the walk.' Gary and his team are not one of those.
We also appreciated that they managed to juggle their schedule around to fit us in when time scales became tight.
I am not normally someone who writes this type of feedback but in this case, felt it necessary and is well and truly deserved.
